Data partnerships help coordinate HIV and opioid use disorder (OUD) services across state programs. These relationships can help state agencies identify service overlap and gaps, identify common goals, and initiate collaboration. This document presents ways that state HIV and behavioral health programs can build data partnerships. The examples included serve as a starting point for the development of more formal and complex data partnerships.
